At Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust we are driven by our ethos of working together to provide outstanding healthcare to our community.

Working closely with our partner organisations, our 6,500 staff and volunteers care for a population of around 750,000 from a wide range of social and ethnic groups.

We have two main hospitals; Queen’s Hospital in Romford and King George Hospital in Goodmayes. We also serve clinics across outer north east London and run some services from Barking Hospital.

The Trust manages three hospitals: Watford, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans. It provides general healthcare and some specialist services and has close links with specialist hospitals such as Harefield.

The Trust is proud of its control of hospital acquired infections and is free of infection at its elective centre. With one of the safest maternity services in the country, we remain patient-led, understand patients’ needs and expectations, and have strong partnerships with neighbouring NHS organisations, local authorities and voluntary groups.
